Injectable Platelet Rich Fibrin (iPRF, PRF treatment)

Injectable platelet rich fibrin or (i-PRF / iPRF)  is a unique rejuvenation technique that uses the patient’s own blood plasma, enriched with:

- fibrin (wound healing and regeneration matrix)

- platelets (source of healing proteins and growth factors)

- stem cells (the conductors of our body’s own healing and regeneration molecules)

Why fibrin is important? Fibrin functions as a matrix that traps the platelets and controls their release of growth factors very slowly and continuously over a time period of more than one week. Growth factors release rate into the target tissue is important for tissue receptors to respond over a prolonged period of time following treatment.

Have you ever looked at dermal fillers and thought ‘I am just not ready to have something injected like that, but want something more natural?’ Well iPRF is perfect for you. Normal dermal fillers are great for adding lost volume, but iPRF is ideal for adding a small amount of volume but regenerating over the following weeks after treatment. iPRF intensifies the functioning and reproduction of cells, having a gentle, gradual, yet long lasting and accumulative effect.

The natural product is injected or microneedled (depending on the desired outcome), into the area of concern resulting in activation of accelerated healing and regeneration. As a result, the body’s own regenerative properties are concentrated and focused on the area of concern.

Injectable Platelet Rich Fibrin (iPRF) is an all-natural, non-surgical regenerative treatment that utilises the patient’s own blood platelets in order to treat fine lines and wrinkles, volume loss, photo damage, scars, pigmentation, poor texture and hair restoration.
